This was my first time traveling to North East Maryland for a newborn session but I definitely hope it’s not the last. What a cute town! I was really excited to meet this family when mom said they had a Harry Potter themed nursery with beautiful light for their little 5 week old boy.

One of the most common concerns I hear from parents is whether or not their home is “photo-worthy”, so I can’t ever say it enough. If you live there and you have babies or children, the answer is always a resounding yes. Do you have love and connections to document? Do you have a few windows? We’re good to go. That’s all I need.
Some sessions I spend time in various rooms throughout the house, but in others, we may just spend the bulk of the time in one room. It’s truly unique to every family and home. In this case, 5 weeks new Elliott had a beautiful Harry Potter themed nursery that also happened to have the best light in the house. To keep it easy on the parents, we spent our time in his nursery, photographing various angles and connections with their sweet new boy.
Don’t worry if you literally have one room with great light. I’ll make it happen and make it happen beautifully.
Just a few (ha-ha) favorites from Elliott’s gallery in his North Easy Maryland home.

If you’re a new or expecting mom considering a North East Maryland newborn photographer, or anywhere else throughout Greater Baltimore, I would love to talk with you! I’m sure you already see how fast these weeks go by and it’s never too late to document them. Don’t worry if your baby is already past that suggested time frame. It doesn’t matter, I promise.
