Catonsville Maternity Photographer – Peek into a Beautiful Outdoor Session

Baltimore maternity photographer

Cara and her husband were so laid back for their outdoor maternity session, they truly made my job a breeze! If you’re looking for a Catonsville maternity photographer, consider an outdoor photo session when the weather is warm.

As a Maryland newborn and family photographer, I travel a lot each week, with the majority of my clients being all over the greater Baltimore area and into DC and Northern Virginia. So, when a parent reaches out from what feels like my small little town of Catonsville, I get a little excited to meet someone local.

Cara and her husband lived just five minutes from my house and were totally open to meeting at a quiet park I adore. When choosing locations for outdoor maternity sessions that aren’t in your own neighborhood I’m always up for your suggestions, but my go-to suggestions will usually be quiet and peaceful locations that offer a bit of privacy. I don’t want you to feel like you have an audience if I ask you to twirl and dance with your partner, so it helps to know where we’re going and that it’s not crowded. 😉

And before you ask, because I love it too, I wish I knew where Cara got this beautiful dress from! She said she found it on Facebook marketplace and I have to say, she definitely lucked out. It photographed beautifully.

For those who do love her dress, I have found some similar ones on Baltic Born and Morning Lavender.

If you’re an expecting mom considering a Baltimore area maternity photographer to document your pregnancy, I would love to talk with you! The best time to photograph your pregnancy is whenever you are ready, but for the common round tummy photos you often see, it’s suggested between 30-37 weeks. The earlier the better if you are considering photos outdoors so we have flexibility with weather.
