This Baltimore newborn session was so much fun to photograph. I mean, I say that a lot, but it’s honestly the case with pretty much all of my families. Especially when they have older kids like this family and they’re laid back and relaxed. Helps that I’m a talker too because I love connecting with you on a personal level. Swapping mom stories is my favorite!
Baltimore Newborn Session with Baby Piper and Family
Kim Whipps Photography
I went to their beautiful Baltimore city home one weekday morning before the May heat really began to kick in. Our goal was to get in as much as possible so the kids could get on their way to school. It’s always nice to see kids to excited about going to school, so I made a deal with the kids that if they could play with me for a bit, I would have them out the door in no time. After all, it was field day that day! I couldn’t let them miss that!
Penelope was a bit reluctant to start, but it didn’t tale long to see what the problem was. She just wanted to hold her new baby sister. Can you blame her? I think judging by the photos, baby Piper felt the same way. She gave me the biggest smiles the moment I placed her in their arms.
For my techy friends, gear was Canon R6 with a mix of a Canon 100mm f/2.8L and 35mm Sigma Art 1.4
